Rita is a psychotherapist (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) who provides therapy to adults, adolescents, individuals, and couples.

Rita received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston and her BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Throughout her training, she has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. During graduate school, Rita interned at The Menninger Clinic where she gained insight into working with adults, couples therapy, and family dynamics. She has additional training in the Gottman Method and enjoys working with people to strengthen relationships. Rita is beginning training (as of September, 2022) in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies (CFPS – Houston).

Rita’s style is relational and her therapeutic orientation is eclectic based on the needs of each individual or couple. Her clinical interests include helping people develop a deeper understanding of who they are, identify areas of personal change and growth, and find deeper meaning in their lives.
