Dr. Raymond Cho

Founder and Medical Director

Few psychiatrists anywhere bring NIH-funded TMS research directly into clinical practice. Dr. Raymond Cho is one of them. Over a 30-year career spanning Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh, UTHealth, and the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, he studied exactly why some patients don't respond to standard treatment — and what needs to happen in the brain for them to improve. Houston Mind & Brain is where that research becomes your treatment plan.

A note from Dr. Raymond Cho

I started Houston Mind & Brain to bring research-grade brain treatments into a practice that feels personal and straightforward. We begin by listening to your history, what hasn’t worked, and what matters most, then design a plan that blends evidence-based interventions (TMS, ketamine, and KAP) with careful medication management so improvements endure. If you’re considering whether one of these options might be right for you, our team will guide you through the process and help you take the next step.
